Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Account Manager to act as a strategic partner for our clients. In this role, you'll lead client relationships, ensuring seamless collaboration between clients and internal teams to deliver on performance goals outlined in statements of work. By focusing on outcomes and ensuring alignment with the delivery team's commitment to quality, you'll play a critical role in fostering trust, driving retention, and identifying opportunities for growth.

Core Job Responsibilities :

  • Act as the primary point of contact for subscription marketing clients, managing relationships from onboarding through ongoing service delivery.
  • Lead client meetings to evaluate performance against the statement of work, focusing on outcomes and business / marketing objectives. Facilitate productive discussions that explore industry trends and opportunities that support client goals.
  • Analyze campaign performance and collaborate with internal strategists and specialists to ensure optimization and alignment with SOW objectives.
  • Proactively communicate with clients, providing timely updates and clarifying expectations while collaborating with internal teams on technical matters as needed.
  • Pursue account expansion through upselling and cross-selling strategies aligned with client goals and business objectives, partnering with business developers as needed to ensure a unified approach.
  • Facilitate smooth collaboration with internal teams, ensuring client priorities are communicated accurately throughout information systems while empowering strategists to lead proactive tactical execution.
  • Resolve discrepancies between client expectations and campaign capabilities by setting clear expectations and offering actionable solutions within the SOW's scope of work.
  • Stay informed on digital marketing and AI trends, and educate clients when appropriate, particularly in alignment with their business and marketing goals.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients, demonstrating Clix's commitment to their success through proactive service and exceptional communication.
  • Proactively identify and address challenges or opportunities relevant to your role, contributing to team and client success beyond defined responsibilities.
  • Qualifications :

  • 46 years in account management or a similar client-facing role, preferably in a digital marketing agency.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO tools, CRM systems) and a solid understanding of campaign performance metrics.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and adapt to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills, with a focus on aligning client goals and project capabilities.
  • A passion for building and maintaining relationships that drive client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Key Skills and Competencies :

  • Expertise in building and maintaining trust-based relationships, acting as a strategic partner to clients while managing expectations and priorities.
  • Proficient in analyzing campaign metrics to deliver actionable insights and ensure alignment with the client's objectives and the scope of work.

  • Anticipates challenges and develops creative, results-driven solutions that enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Stays up-to-date on digital marketing trends, integrating relevant insights into client strategies to maximize opportunities.
