Why This Job PAYROLL SPECIALIST :
This is a busy team with roughly 130 employees (almost half are salaried!) They need someone with expert ADP payroll knowledge and excellent communication skills to process payroll and answer employee questions related to payroll.
You'll have the opportunity to take ownership and lead this process autonomously, so someone comfortable jumping right in will do great! The position is very heavy on high level communication with employees out in the field so bring your customer service skills and relationship building to the table here and you will shine! The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to work well under deadlines.
Ideally this person will put processes in place to streamline processes even further and take on more in payroll accounting. The sky is the limit!
What You’ll Actually Do :
- Process biweekly payroll for 130 Colorado employees
- Process dues, taxes, garnishments, or liens
- Work with employees to mend any concerns on payroll
- Meticulous record keeping and updating on all employee payroll changes
- Be seen as the payroll guru
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need :
- 2+ years of payroll experience processing for over 100 employees
- Strong ADP knowledge
- Prior experience with other payroll functions (deductions, journal entries, tracking OT)

- A great attitude
- Prior non-profit or education industry experience
- A desire to be in-office and collaborate with the team
Where and How Much :
- North Denver
- Target pay range $65 - $75K, based on experience
