Maintenance Tech - Day Shift

Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled maintenance tech to join our team in Sacramento. POSITION - PM Maintenance Tech - Manufacturing Plant - Entry Level

LOCATION - Sacramento

HOURLY RATE - $28.00 -32.00

SHIFT - Weekend Day Shift - 6am to 2 : 30pm Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician job responsibilities include :

• Incorporate Vision and Values : Integrate MITER’s vision and values into daily activities and behaviors, inspiring and motivating others to uphold the Miter philosophy.
• Safety Compliance : Ensure strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Preventative Maintenance Focus : Prioritize preventative maintenance (PM) for equipment in your assigned area. Proactively maintain and troubleshoot to prevent potential issues before they arise.
• Effective Communication : Maintain open and accurate communication with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• PM Work Order Completion : Accurately complete all assigned PM work orders, documenting all relevant information regarding the completion of tasks.
• Documentation and Reporting : Complete Maintenance, Repair, and Operations documentation, including FIXX entries, as required by various maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Technical Maintenance Tasks : Perform technical maintenance tasks under close supervision to ensure quality and precision.
• Parts Inventory Management : Provide all necessary information to maintain proper parts inventories.
• Collaboration with Contractors : Work alongside outside contractors to complete projects and improvements

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in a maintenance occupation preferably in a manufacturing environment.
