A renowned healthcare facility in Connecticut is currently seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide critical care in a high-volume, Level 2 Trauma Center.

About the Opportunity :

• Shift : 9-hour day shifts or 10-hour night shifts (main need is days)
• Schedule : Flexible; 6-8 shifts per month or weekend availability
• Setting : Level 2 Trauma Center with approximately 65,000 patient visits annually
• Support : Physician Assistant backup available
• Telehealth Experience : Not required

Responsibilities :

The Emergency Medicine Physician will be responsible for :

Providing expert care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting

Managing trauma and other acute cases in a Level 2 Trauma Center

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including PAs, to ensure quality care

Maintaining accurate and timely documentation

Adhering to all clinical and operational standards

Qualifications :

MD degree

Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM preferred)

100% clean file required

Demonstrated experience in a high-acuity emergency setting

Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Desired Skills :

Previous experience in a Level 2 Trauma Center or similar setting

Familiarity with EPIC EMR systems

Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills
