Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Staff Pharmacist for a Long-Term Care Mail Order Pharmacy in Indiana. This position offers a 7-week contract with an excellent chance for direct hire .
The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, professional communication skills, and proven experience in a long-term care or mail order pharmacy environment. Youll be responsible for ensuring accurate verification, safe dispensing, and timely delivery of prescriptions while supporting the highest standards of pharmacy practice.
Position Details :
Shift : Monday Friday, 1 : 00pm 10 : 00pm
Rotating weekends required
7-week contract with the possibility of permanent placement
Responsibilities :
Verify and dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential interactions.
Communicate effectively with technicians, physicians, and nursing staff.
Maintain proper inventory and documentation standards.
Provide clinical support and ensure exceptional patient care within LTC operations.
Requirements :
Active Indiana Pharmacist license required.
Long-Term Care pharmacy experience required.
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work in a high-volume environment.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
