JSH is seeking a Partner with 6+ years of experience to join our Auto and / or General Liability practice in our New Mexico office.
A portable book of business of any size is required for this position. While portable business is a requirement, the firm has ample work to keep the candidate busy.
The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of auto and / or general liability practice, and a desire to provide exceptional client service.
Candidates must be highly motivated and have excellent academic credentials. Our firm offers a collaborative and supportive environment, complete with robust professional development programs, including in-house CLE and Trial College, and the opportunity to try cases to a jury.
Qualifications :
- JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the State Bar of New Mexico
- 6+ years of experience in civil litigation and insurance defense
- Strong experience with motion practice, discovery, taking / defending depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation
- Excellent client service, oral advocacy, and written communication skills
