Position Description :

The Technical Design Engineer is responsible for supporting development from concept to release of new products. As a technical design engineer, the person in this position will have the opportunity to work with others and hone their project management skills. It's a great opportunity for engineers wanting to grow their career beyond being an individual contributor.

Major Duties and Responsibilities :

• Develop and manage product requirements for new and derivative products in response to market requirements
• Lead design, development, testing, and listing of new or derivative products
• Perform engineering analysis on designs (FEA, thermal, etc.)
• Cross-functional involvement with small teams taking products from concept to launch
• Direct interaction with customers for the purpose of defining and / or clarifying needs and translating those into product requirements
• Producing engineering design documentation packages including assembly drawings, BOMs, installation drawings, service pages, and test specifications.
• Analyzing and solving technical problems and providing repeatable, supportable solutions that can be implemented in a timely manner
• Providing technical support to Sales and Marketing for pre and post sales activities
• Analyzing field failures and identifying corrective and preventative solutions

The above duties may be supplemented occasionally with other job duties and / or assignments related to career or personal development.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 dependent on level of experience
