- Estate litigation and estate planning experience

Position Overview
We are looking for a full-time Attorney specializing in Trusts and Estates to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in estate planning, estate litigation, and guardianship proceedings. Key Responsibilities
Estate Planning :Draft comprehensive estate plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies for wealth transfer and asset protectionDevelop customized plans for high-net-worth individuals and familiesAssist with business succession planning for family-owned enterprisesPrepare and review prenuptial and postnuptial agreementsEstate Administration :Guide executors and administrators through the probate process
Prepare and file necessary court documents for estate administrationAssist with asset valuation and distributionHandle tax matters related to estate administration, including preparation of estate tax returnsResolve creditor claims against estatesEstate Litigation :Represent clients in will contests and trust disputes
Handle cases involving fiduciary misconduct or breach of dutiesLitigate matters related to undue influence, lack of capacity, or fraud in estate planning documentsNegotiate settlements in estate-related disputesPrepare and argue motions in court proceedingsGuardianship Proceedings :Initiate and manage guardianship proceedings for incapacitated adults and minors
Prepare necessary documentation for guardianship appointmentsRepresent clients in contested guardianship mattersAdvise on alternatives to guardianship, such as supported decision-making agreementsAssist guardians with ongoing compliance and reporting requirementsClient Relations :Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients
Maintain regular communication with clients throughout their casesProvide clear explanations of complex legal concepts to clientsCollaborate with other professionals, such as financial advisors and accountants, to serve clients' needsParticipate in client seminars and educational eventsPractice Development :Stay current with changes in estate planning and probate law
Contribute to the firm's knowledge base and internal training programs
