Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for government locations. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and to observe and report any security-related concerns. Monitor for suspicious or unusual activities, reporting any findings to the appropriate personnel or authorities. Support access control measures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required for government facilities. Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of patrol activities, incidents, and observations during the shift. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to address security-related concerns and provide a visible presence throughout the location. A valid New York State Security Guard License is required. Willingness to work at sites with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Guard in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment at a prominent government location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service.
