What You'll Do : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a secure environment. Report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unauthorized persons on site, following established protocols. Document and communicate incidents and / or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and client site protocols. Interact professionally and courteously with staff, visitors, and / or the public to address inquiries or provide directions as needed. Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the site management to support the security-related objectives of the location. Minimum Requirements : A valid New York State Security Guard License is required. Experience working at sites with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
