Salary : $18-$20 DOE
Position Overview :
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals with a passion for horses to join us as Youth Horseback Riding Camp Counselors.
In this role, you will guide and supervise campers during their horseback riding activities, fostering a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities :
- Camp Program Implementation :
- Assist in the planning and execution of horseback riding activities and lessons for campers.
- Provide guidance and instruction on basic horsemanship skills, grooming, and riding techniques.
- Supervision and Safety :
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers during all horse-related activities.
- Supervise campers during horseback riding sessions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Youth Engagement :
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for campers to learn and enjoy their horseback riding experience.
- Encourage teamwork, cooperation, and positive communication among campers.
- Horse Care :
- Assist in the care and grooming of camp horses.
- Teach campers the basics of horse care and responsible horsemanship.
- Communication :
- Effectively communicate with campers, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Provide regular feedback to campers on their progress and achievements.
Qualifications :
- Experience working with youth in a camp or educational setting.
- Knowledge of basic horse care and riding principles (previous horse experience is preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must be 16 years or older
Working Conditions : This is a seasonal position during the summer camp period. The work involves outdoor activities, and counselors should be prepared to work in various weather conditions.
Weekend availability may be required.
