About TransPak

TransPak is a global leader in packaging, crating, logistics, and 3PL solutions. We serve high-tech and other innovative industries worldwide, helping our customers manage complex supply chain needs with customized solutions that protect their products and optimize efficiency.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our High Tech segment at our Hayward, CA location. This is an excellent opportunity to build relationships with some of the most innovative companies in Silicon Valley and beyond. Packaging industry experience is not required - we provide full training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within the high-tech industry.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts by providing exceptional service and support.
  • Collaborate with internal operations, engineering, and global teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Develop and present proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and close sales contracts.
  • Travel as needed to visit customer sites, attend meetings, and support projects.
  • Work collaboratively across global time zones to support international customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales, business development, or account management experience .
  • Experience working with high-tech, electronics, manufacturing, or supply chain customers is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and manage multiple accounts.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours to coordinate with global teams.
  • Must be based within commuting distance of Hayward, CA; hybrid work schedule includes 3 days per week in-office .
