Drywall / Taper Technician Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and hang drywall sheets on walls and ceilings for new construction, remodels, or restoration projects.
• Apply joint tape, drywall compound, and finishing materials to seams, corners, and fasteners to create a smooth surface ready for painting or texture.
• Sand and smooth all surfaces to match surrounding areas, ensuring seamless transitions between new and existing drywall.
• Repair and blend damaged drywall to match existing textures, including knockdown, orange peel, and smooth finishes.
• Project Documentation : Track daily progress, note any issues, and communicate updates to the office for project management.
• Minor Carpentry Support : Perform basic finish carpentry when necessary, such as door / window trim, baseboards, or minor framing repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
