AVP, Asset Management Multifamily (Irvine)
We are working with an established CRE owner / operator in Irvine, CA that is looking to add an AVP to help oversee a national portfolio of institutional-grade multifamily assets.
While the role will focus on managing the operational and financial performance of a 3k unit (Class A) portfolio, you will also touch other aspects of the business as well - underwriting, strategic planning, development, etc.
Our client continues to raise / deploy capital in a disciplined way, creating long-term value for their investors, and this would be an opportunity to be part of that growth.
Experience :
- 5-10 years of direct asset management experience, working with a CRE owner / operator, asset manager, or PE firm multifamily required
- Bachelor’s degree in RE, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or similar
- Implementing / overseeing strategy at both the property, and portfolio level, with the ability to identify opportunities for performance improvement
- Conducting deep financial and operational analysis for a CRE portfolio (hold / sell, asset valuations, market analysis, etc.)
- Visiting properties to monitor performance, understand the competitive set, and cultivate market relationships
- Collaborating across the organization to develop budgets and business plans
- Assisting Investments team with due diligence on new investment opportunities, and capital improvements to existing portfolio
- Ability to oversee and monitor relationships with JV partners, brokers, contractors, vendors, lenders, and legal counsel
