SUMMARY The Assistant Property Manager II provides support to the Property Manager for all operational and financial aspects of a property in order to meet company goals. The Assistant Property Manager will be involved in areas such as collections, resident relations, maintenance and compliance with company safety program, and all laws and company policies. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Qualifications
Education and Experience : High school diploma or GED required 1-2 years as a Leasing Consultant or equivalent experience Experience in handling sensitive, confidential information Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience with Yardi preferred
Skills and Abilities : Fluent in English and skilled in oral and written communication Ability to use tact and diplomacy in a clear, courteous manner when dealing with co-workers and the public Strong attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Physical Demands : Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; strength to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed material and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in-person and over the telephone. Must be able to quickly and easily navigate the property / building as required to meet the job functions, including climbing stairs and walking the hallways and common areas.
