SLA Worldwide, an airport concession company, is seeking a Restaurant General Manager at Pucketts located inside the BNA Airport. The ideal candidate should have up to 5 years or more experience as a restaurant general manager. Strong people development skills and excellent communication abilities. Salary : 52K -57K, depending on relative experience
Key Responsibilities :
Operational Leadership :
- Oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure consistent service, food quality, and cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with all airport security, safety, and operational requirements, including vendor badges and access control.
- Monitor daily sales, labor, and inventory to achieve company financial goals.
- Maintain accurate records of cash handling, deposits, and point-of-sale transactions.
- Coordinate with airport authorities, maintenance, and other vendors to ensure smooth operations.
Team Management :
Recruit, train, schedule, and manage staff, fostering a positive and professional work culture.Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.Ensure staff compliance with company policies, uniform standards, and airport regulations.Lead by example with professionalism, strong work ethic, and customer focus.Guest Experience :
Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining a welcoming environment and high service standards.Handle customer complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.Promote brand values and maintain the restaurant’s reputation for quality and hospitality.Financial & Administrative Duties :
Analyze financial reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Develop and implement plans to control costs, reduce waste, and increase profitability.Oversee ordering, inventory management, and vendor relationships.Prepare and submit reports as required by corporate or airport management.Compliance & Safety :
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service laws.Maintain all necessary permits and certifications (ServSafe, alcohol compliance, airport badges, etc.).Enforce adherence to TSA and airport security policies for employees and vendors.Qualifications :
Minimum 3–5 years of restaurant general management experience (airport or high-volume location preferred).Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proven success in achieving sales targets, controlling costs, and improving operations.Ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of airport operations or ability to quickly adapt to airport-specific requirements.Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Must be able to pass required airport background checks and obtain necessary badges.Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the restaurant for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required by airport hours.Compensation and Benefits :
