Position Overview

Bicara Therapeutics is seeking a Director, Commercial Insights & Analytics to lead the development and execution of an integrated insights strategy that supports the commercialization of our lead oncology asset, Ficerafusp alfa. This individual will be responsible for forecasting, market research, competitive intelligence, and analytics to guide strategic decisions across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong quantitative skills with strategic business acumen and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for cross‑functional and executive stakeholders.

This role is based in our Boston office and follows a hybrid schedule, with three in‑office days each week.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrated Insights Leadership : Own and execute a holistic insights and analytics strategy aligned with key business objectives across clinical, commercial, and corporate functions.
• Market Research : Oversee qualitative and quantitative research initiatives to understand customer needs, market dynamics, and the evolving competitive landscape.
• Digital Analytics & Omnichannel Measurement : Design and implement frameworks to track performance of digital and omnichannel campaigns (e.g., unbranded websites, paid media, peer‑to‑peer platforms). Define KPIs and lead analytics to measure reach, engagement, and impact.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration : Act as a strategic thought partner to Commercial, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Market Access, and Corporate Strategy teams to embed insights into strategic decision‑making.
• Executive Communication : Deliver clear, concise, and compelling data narratives to leadership and board‑level stakeholders, highlighting actionable implications and key assumptions.
• Vendor & Capability Management : Oversee external vendors and continuously evaluate tools, methodologies, and platforms to ensure best‑in‑class analytics infrastructure.

Through this dual‑targeting mechanism, ficerafusp alfa has the potential to exert potent anti‑tumor activity by simultaneously blocking both cancer cell‑intrinsic EGFR survival and proliferation, as well as the immunosuppressive TGF‑β signaling within the tumor microenvironment. Ficerafusp alfa is being developed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, where there remains a significant unmet need, as well as other solid tumor types.
