Description :

This position is for an experienced Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department.

The department features a total of 101 beds with typical patient ratios of 4 : 1 for medical cases and up to 7 : 1 for behavioral holds.

Technicians are available to assist with cardiac monitoring and internal processing.

Unit clerks are present for both day and night shifts.

The equipment includes Baxter pumps and GE monitors, and documentation is done through a specific system.

Scheduling covers every other weekend and cannot commit to block scheduling; it must meet departmental needs.

Nurses must be open to floating within different sections of the emergency department only.

Patient experience is prioritized, requiring adherence to respectful behavior and communication standards.

Nurses must possess advanced skills and be knowledgeable about unit-specific policies and guidelines.

The department is known for its strong emphasis on teamwork and a welcoming environment.

Staff enjoys serving a diverse community with over 120 languages represented.
