Job Title : Material Coordinator

Location : Ankeny, IA 50023

Assignment Length : 12 Months (Possible Extension)

Position Type : Contract / Contingent

Shift : 1st Shift – Monday to Friday (Flexible start at 6 : 00 AM)

Overtime : Possible based on business needs

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team in the BC Role. This position combines technical expertise with strong organizational and communication skills to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of critical parts

Key Responsibilities :

Track and expedite parts for work requests

Maintain and update the Hot List for critical part shortages

Communicate with Supply Management regarding purchase orders and part ETAs

Troubleshoot part requests from engineers

Prepare and update daily and weekly reports using Excel and other MS Office tools

Participate in priority meetings

Work Environment :

Approximately 10% shop floor / 90% desk work

Metatarsal boots required on Day 1

Tools & Systems : SAP

Vision

MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Qualifications

Required :

2-year degree in Pre-Engineering, Manufacturing / Engineering Tech, Computer-Aided Drafting, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Proficiency in MS Office (Intermediate Excel skills required)

Strong computer skills

Highly organized with excellent communication skills

Proactive, detail-oriented, and diligent

Strong problem-solving abilities

Positive and upbeat attitude

Preferred : 4-year degree

Mechanical aptitude

Experience with SAP

Familiarity with Power BI
