- Responsibilities : Serve as a key liaison between the project team and stakeholders, ensuring thorough knowledge of project details.
- Support the Project Administrator and manage project documentation using appropriate software tools.
- Track project quantities and align them with revenue goals.
- Assist with Requests for Information (RFI), including logging, tracking, and communicating updates to the internal team.
- Coordinate with materials suppliers, manage submittals, and ensure compliance with contract documents.
- Prepare purchase orders, write subcontracts, and code invoices from vendors and subcontractors.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely execution.
- Track, price, and submit extra work items while ensuring alignment with project budgets.
- Prepare for and attend internal and external project meetings, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Support the closeout process by submitting required documentation and As-Builts.
- Must-Have Skills : Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field, or 2-4 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Nice-to-Have Skills : Experience with project management software or tools commonly used in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with creating and managing Requests for Information (RFI) and submittals.
- Prior experience estimating construction projects or change orders.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.
- Previous internship or work experience in a similar role within the construction sector.
