As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading retail location, you will conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to observe and report on activities, helping to deter unwanted behavior.

Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft, vandalism, and / or unauthorized access.

Interact professionally with store employees, visitors, and shoppers while maintaining a visible presence as an armed security-related representative of Allied Universal.

Document and report incidents, observations, and any unusual activities according to site-specific protocols and Allied Universal standards.

Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuations and / or medical incidents, in accordance with training and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license as required by state and / or local regulations.

Hold a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
