Cherry Picker / Forklift Operator
Our client is a major manufacturer and distributor of home décor products. We are seeking dexterous and earnest Cherry Picker and Sit-Down Forklift Operators to join their new warehouse, located in the city of Simi Valley
This is a traditional forklift operator position. You will be responsible for :
- Utilizing the cherry picker to help place orders on the shelves.
- Help load and unload the trucks.
- Utilize the stand-up forklift to help transport products to the shelves.
- Work with the Shipping and Receiving department on their big orders.
- Scan the boxes to ensure they match the order.
- Follow the established safety procedures and do a quick check on the equipment to ensure everything is working properly.
- Other duties as assigned.
Good attention to detail is paramount for this position.
This is a full-time. First shift, from 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm, Monday to Friday.
To be considered for this position, you must possess a current Forklift OSHA certification from an independent party.
