Job Title : Machine Operator

Job Description

Join our team in the Molding Department where you will play a crucial role in the initial stages of the molding process. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and cutting products while assisting Mold Operators.

Responsibilities

• Operate two machines : one for cleaning / sanitizing products and a cutting machine for trimming.
• Perform repetitive tasks of loading and unloading machines with products, ensuring proper machine operation during 20-minute intervals.
• Use a microscope for visual inspection of parts post-machine processing.
• Operate punch press and cutting machine to trim excess mold from parts.
• Work in a cleanroom environment, requiring appropriate attire such as a lab coat, gloves, mask, glasses, and hair net.
• Perform basic machine setup, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.

Work Environment

You will work Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday shifts twice a month. The position is on the 2nd shift from 3 : 30 PM to 12 AM, with typical end times around 2 AM. Initial training will take place on the 1st shift from 7 AM to 3 : 30 PM. The role is based in a cleanroom environment, requiring specific attire for cleanliness and safety.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00 / hr.
