We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to take charge of daily accounting operations and lead a team of staff accountants. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity 100% on-site in the Uptown area of Dallas, Texas.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise and mentor a team of staff accountants, providing leadership and support to ensure their detail-oriented growth.
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, profit and loss reports, and account reconciliations.
• Delegate and monitor tasks related to data entry and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to transition client accounts smoothly while maintaining exceptional client relationships.
• Work across multiple industries to deliver tailored accounting services that meet diverse business needs.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational processes to uphold accuracy and transparency.
• Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries and financial statement audits.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain and organize financial records effectively.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and statements for monthly and annual reviews.
• Assist in implementing accounting strategies that align with business goals and improve operational efficiency.
