• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience supervising student employees and / or advising students or student organizations in a higher education / university setting.
• Demonstrated understanding of student development theories.
• Experience facilitating volunteering and community service programs.
• Experience conducting workshops or training sessions for students and / or faculty and staff.
• Ability to coordinate a variety of work activities and work as part of a team.
• Experience in event planning and program management.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Job Description :

The Coordinator for Volunteer and Community Service Programs as a member of the Leadership & Service Unit of Student Involvement and Engagement (SI&E), is responsible for developing and implementing volunteer and community service programs that support student involvement, sense of belonging, and student success. The Coordinator, with the Associate Director for Leadership Development & Service, develops comprehensive educational volunteer and community service initiatives that enhance student learning and supports skills development and career readiness. The position reports to the Associate Director for Leadership and Service.

Job Duties :

Volunteer and Community Service Programs (60%)

Administration, Budget Management, Supervision, Advising, and Event Planning (20%)

Leadership Development and Civic Engagement Programs (10%)

Other Duties (10%)
