HDR has an opening for a Project Controls Specialist to provide support to our project teams in the delivery of Resources Business Group projects in the New York / New Jersey Area. This role will partner with our Project Controls Manager and our Project Delivery Lead in monitoring and tracking scope, schedule, budget, and quality activities for projects.

In the role of Project Controls Specialist, we'll count on you to :

• Establish WBS and develop and maintain complex project schedules for various phases of the project
• Develop and monitor project metrics, including budget, schedule and quality activities
• Coordinate with necessary team members
• Participate in project coordination meetings
• Conduct project site visits if applicable
• Conduct schedule baseline and schedule update reviews
• Develop staffing cost estimates
• Manage and enforce adherence to project controls practices and procedures, including change management and records management
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators and report to project and program staff
• Review project change documentation and ensure compliance with change procedures and contract specifications
• Establish project schedules, forecast and cost controls procedures
• Work with Project Manager, Accounting, Operational and Business Leadership for periodic project reviews
• Perform other duties as needed

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
