Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Waterford, MI, to provide comprehensive speech therapy services. This contract position is available for the current school year and offers flexible full-time or part-time hours. The role involves working in one building with an itinerant caseload, serving students across all grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Responsibilities include delivering direct and indirect speech therapy services, participating in team meetings, and collaborating with school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The district uses an established IEP system with training provided to ensure compliance and best practices. Therapy will be conducted in dedicated spaces, and administrative time is offered for documentation and meetings. The SLP may provide supervision as needed.
