Are you a dependable and experienced cook looking for a steady weekday schedule in a fast-paced, friendly environment? Adecco is assisting their client in hiring a Cafeteria Cook to join their food service team, preparing fresh, healthy, and delicious meals for staff and guests.

Schedule & Pay

• Hours : Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 a.m. – 2 : 30 p.m.

Pay : Starting at $20 / hour , with competitive rates based on experience

Overtime : Occasional afternoons or weekends may be required

Key Responsibilities

Prepare daily meals and weekly specials that are tasty, nutritious, and budget-friendly

Plan menus and manage inventory with a focus on portion control and minimizing waste

Assist with food orders and proper storage of deliveries

Maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment and follow all food safety guidelines

Care for kitchen equipment and ensure everything is in working order

Adapt quickly to changes in menu or inventory

Cross-train in other cafeteria roles to support smooth operations

Qualifications

Proven experience as a cook in a professional kitchen

Ability to work independently and stay organized

Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (HACCP or similar)

Understanding of cost control and portioning

Pay Details : $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
