We're launching a new trade-first quartz warehouse in Houston, TX — and we’re looking for a founding Outside Sales Rep to lead this exciting market.
Your mission : presell 50–70% of each container before landing , place 7-day pairholds, and convert them into POs — while maintaining price discipline and building strong relationships with fabricators, countertop installers, and kitchen / bath dealers.
What you’ll do :
- Make 10–12 shop calls per week to fabricators, countertop installers, kitchen & bath dealers
- Run simple events (Coffee & Holds / Container Preview).
- Manage holds, ETAs, and customer updates via CRM & WhatsApp.
- Onboard accounts, coordinate routes, and ensure clean claims.
What success looks like (KPIs)
Pre‑sell coverage per container 50–70% before arrival; Holds→PO conversion ≥70% inside 7 days.Price discipline : ≥85% of lines at / above everyday; 0% below floor (manager exceptions only on aged / Yard‑Finds).New‑account activations : 8–12 in first 60 days with ≥4‑slab first orders; DSO ≤30 ; ≥40% COD mix.Compensation :
Base : $55k-$70k DOECommission : 3% on GP (at / above everyday price)Launch spiff : $10 / slab on converted holds (first 60 days)Car allowance + phone stipend + health benefitsTerritory : 50‑mile radius from our NW Houston hub (Hempstead / Brittmoore / W. Little York; West Belt 77043 corridor).
