This is a hybrid role (3 days in office / 2 days remote).
About your team :
We seek a bright and organized professional to serve as a Paralegal to work on immigration, regulatory, litigation, and corporate matters for IBKR. This position requires a highly organized person who can multitask and quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment.
What will be your responsibilities within IBKR :
- Preparation of visa and permanent residency petitions for current or prospective employees, including :
Collecting documentation from applicants
Conduction Prevailing Wage analysisDocumenting recruiting and candidate analysisPreparing Labor Condition ApplicationsRespond to HR, management, and foreign national candidates about the status of non-immigrant and immigrant petitions.Review, archiving, and organization of contractsDocument collection, review, and preparation for submission related to regulatory inquiries and litigationLegal research and analysisGeneral office administrationWhich skills are required :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college / university (minimum GPA : 3.0)Paralegal certification or experience is preferred1-3 years of experience in a legal setting or the financial services industry is a plusExperience with immigration law and / or visa petitions is a plusProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTo be successful in this position, you will have the following :
