Construction Project Manager
The Construction Project Manager will own, develop, and direct all activities vital to completing profitable and timely construction projects. Responsibilities include writing subcontracts for Electrical, Mechanical, and Architectural subcontractors. Create invoices using any invoicing software to bill project owners. Conceptualize and create budgets for projects ranging from $40-$50 million. Work alongside the estimating team to process change orders and review their work. Manage project schedules in collaboration with the superintendent. Oversee budget management to ensure financial efficiency.
Essential Skills include experience in construction project management, proficiency in conceptualizing and managing project budgets, ability to write subcontracts, experience with large multifamily projects valued at $50 million, proficiency in project management, estimation, and blueprint reading, and familiarity with MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, and MS Project.
Additional Skills & Qualifications include a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or equivalent field experience. Five or more years of experience in construction project management is preferred, along with experience with relevant project management methodologies.
The work environment will start in preconstruction at the office in NE Portland, followed by being onsite at a $50 million multifamily project in Hillsboro. The company is a medium-sized, non-union general contractor with a family feel and a progressive, dynamic team.
