Public Services Librarian
The Public Services Librarian provides management and leadership in all aspects of circulation, document delivery, access services, and collection management. They provide direct user assistance and reference support via in-person, email, phone, or chat, and supervise two full-time staff members and student workers.
This position is responsible for ensuring a positive, user-centered customer service presence for faculty, staff, and students. In addition to public service duties, the Public Services Librarian may act as a liaison to academic programs. The candidate must establish rapport and work collaboratively with library colleagues and campus-wide constituents including financial aid, student affairs, information technology, plant operations, and the registrar.
