Oncology Clinical Educator, Solid Tumor (Northeast Overlay)
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting an Oncology Clinical Educator (OCE) to provide clinical education for J&J Oncology brands within the Northeast territory. The OCE will support non-physician patient care teams, including nurses, nurse navigators, pharmacists, and advanced practice providers, by delivering disease-state and product education to improve patient and provider experiences.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Build external relationships with PCTs (RN, NP, PA, Pharm.D., Nurse Navigators) across a defined geographic territory.
- Develop and maintain a strategic territory plan that meets customer educational needs and clinical challenges, through account analysis and communication with the OCE responsible for the specific territory.
- Educate PCTs on disease-state awareness and clinical profile of oncology products, including benefits and administration requirements.
- Provide education programs through 1 : 1 presentations, round-table discussions, formal presentations, and patient advocacy meetings.
- Master all aspects of the clinical and administrative profile of new cancer medications and teach infusion processes to external stakeholders.
- Utilize strategic questioning and active listening to document and share PCT clinical insights from customer engagements.
- Attend and provide clinical information at national, regional, and local meetings, and provide staff support at exhibitor booths and displays as required.
- Participate in journal clubs, book clubs, and team clinical discussions and support sales learning and development initiatives to improve clinical competencies of field personnel.
- Maintain thorough understanding of regulatory and health-care compliance guidelines, corporate policies, and SOPs; comply with OCE Rules of Engagement.

Bachelor's degree required.Active RN license or Advanced Practice degree (Nurse Practitioner / MSN) required.OCN / AOCN / AOCNS or AOCNP certification required.8+ years of work experience required.2+ years post-graduate oncology clinical and / or educational experience required.Experience with oncology and / or hematology products required.Excellent presentation skills required.Knowledge and / or experience with direct-to-patient education initiatives preferred.Previous industry experience preferred.Previous experience in introducing new specialty pharmaceutical / biologics products or indications a plus.Ability to navigate and discuss complex clinical data.Excellent collaboration and time-management skills.Excellent communication skills and critical thinking.Ability to build comprehensive account educational plans and analyze clinical insights to shape local education strategy.Strong teamwork focus and ability to navigate field partner complexities compliantly.Above-average computer skills : PowerPoint, Excel, Word.Travel 90% of the time (including overnight); valid driver's license and English fluency required.Must be able to lift and transport work materials.Must live in the territory or have the ability to relocate.Compensation
Base salary range : $115,000 – $197,800. Eligible for annual performance bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
