Join our Emergency Services Department as a Registered Nurse (RN) at our Level I Trauma Center, Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego, where the RN will provide direct patient care within the scope of practice. With an average of 250 visits per day, this ED includes 49 beds and designated Psych (4 beds) and Fast Track areas. This RN role will be dedicated to the Psychiatric area of the Emergency Department. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to: Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Conduct patient care assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients’ progress towards expected outcomes.
• Take primary responsibility for the patients’ care as delivered by the Care Team under their supervision.
• Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Position Pay Range: $57.00-$81.60/hour

Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state. Required Qualifications:

• Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
• Active California RN license
• BLS Healthcare Provider Certification through American Heart Association
• 1 year of RN experience in psychiatric or behavior health
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
