$29 / hr - Mechanic Fleet Readiness Technician - Autonomous Vehicles

About the Role

Want to work on the front lines of autonomy? Our client is looking for a VH6 Associate to power up their self-driving fleet. You'll support software launches, hardware checks, vehicle charging, and more—all while keeping operations seamless and safe.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stage autonomous vehicles for scheduled test operations and service missions.
• Ensure all vehicles, equipment, and workspaces are clean, safe, and properly configured.
• Execute mission prep procedures, including launching software across multiple devices, verifying system readiness, and deploying necessary updates.
• Perform basic charging and equipment setup for electric vehicles and support hardware.
• Support the logistics and transport of spare parts and help maintain accurate inventory.
• Document vehicle readiness, system updates, and any operational blockers.
• Respond as part of the Incident Response Team during recovery or issue scenarios.
• Provide occasional hands-on technical support (fluid changes, wiring checks, part swaps).
• Assist with general test site support, including cones, obstacles, and traffic control.

Working Environment

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Las Vegas, NV. Multiple shifts are available, including weekday and weekend rotations. Candidates must be local or open to relocation.
