Job Skills / Requirements

Overall cleaning and maintenance of designated building space. Functions include supervising cleaning, dusting, cleaning floors, emptying trash, cleaning windows / blinds, sanitizing and replenishing restroom and kitchen / break room products (e.

g., soap, paper products, etc.). Responsible for the care and repair of company-owned property (e.g., vacuums and other products used on-the-job).

Performs additional miscellaneous duties as required by the client and / or management.

7 : 00AM to 3 : 30PM

$17.00 per hour

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

Dust high and low surfaces (above shoulder height).

Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, and restores dispensers with soap and paper products.

Removes trash, relines trash containers, cleans receptacles if required and takes trash to dumpster.

Dust mop and damp mops floors, vacuum, shampoo carpeted floors.

Cleans additional rooms as requested (e.g., after special event or meeting).

Replace / cleans soiled draperies.

Clean refrigerators and other areas as instructed by manager.

JANITORIAL NIGHT AREA MANAGER INLAND EMPIRE MANAGER

A large commercial provider of janitorial services is seeking a quality Night Area Manager to add to our Inland Empire team.

This Night Area Manager will be housed out of our Ontario, CA office and will have responsibility for a geographic area that includes the greater IE area.

Driving into Orange County will occasionally be required.

JOB SUMMARY :

The Night Area Manager is a key position. This position is responsible for but is not limited to : working closely with the Account Manager and customer personnel in supervising janitorial employees performing day-to-day and periodic cleaning activities in assigned work areas.

Basic job duties include : training; directing; inspection of trash removal, dusting, spot cleaning, window washing, mopping, vacuuming, washing / scrubbing projects, restroom cleaning, hard floor maintenance (including auto-scrubbing, buffing, stripping, waxing, and burnishing), carpet maintenance (including spot removal, shampooing and extracting), pressure washing, recycling, and restocking of supplies;

and other duties as needed.

This is an evening shift position, and requires flexibility as well as weekend work.

REQUIREMENTS :

Valid California Drivers License (no violations within three years)

Must demonstrate the ability to lead and direct hourly personnel toward accomplishment of company goals

2 years relevant cleaning experience

Bilingual : Spanish / English

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office : e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook.

Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team

Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance
