UI Desktop Developer

Summary of Position :

The Global Markets Pre-Trade IT team is responsible for providing Global Macro (Rates, FX), Equity / Securities Lending and Credit businesses with reliable and time-sensitive IT solutions to meet their needs. The team is involved in the different phases of application development : user needs collection, analysis, design, implementation, delivery, support, and maintenance, within an agile framework. We are looking for a seasoned cross-platforms (Web / Desktop) UI developer to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing a seamless, intuitive user interface that enhances collaboration betwee sales and traders in the Rates / FX domain. This role requires a deep understanding of both web and desktop development, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced financial environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Design and develop high-quality, user-friendly interfaces for web and desktop platforms that facilitate collaboration between sales and traders
• Work closely with stakeholders, including sales teams, traders, and other developers, to gather and understand requirements
• Implement responsive and interactive UI elements using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) and desktop frameworks (Tauri, .NET, Kotlin Multiplatform, etc.)
• Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimize the application for performance and scalability
• Be part of the UX / UI design to provide the best the user experience
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the application to ensure functionality and usability
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve the application's performance and user experience
