Job description1 weekend of call per month Responsibilities : Collaborate closely with supervising psychiatrists and clinical staff Compensation : Full benefits package Must possess a minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing. Those six years are composed of a 4-year undergraduate nursing program followed by a 2-year nurse practitioner master's program that includes psychiatric nursing. Must have or pursuing a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Must possess a State License to practice Nursing and it must be in good standing. Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology for advanced practice nurses. Must possess the following concepts : individual and family psychotherapy, psychiatric-mental health nursing across the lifespan, advanced assessment in psychiatric-mental health nursing and psychopharmacology.

River Region Psychiatry Associates, operating as Ally Psychiatry, is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our expanding outpatient practice . This is a great opportunity to be part of an established and growing team as we enter a new market.
Position Details :
- Setting : Outpatient
- Schedule : Monday through Friday
- Call :
1 night of call per week
Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care
