Job description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in chemotherapy administration to join our oncology care team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering compassionate care while safely administering chemotherapy and related treatments, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols. K ey Responsibilitie s Administer chemotherapy and other infusion treatments as prescribed. Monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions during and after treatment. Provide education to patients and families regarding chemotherapy regimens, side effects, and self-care. Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control procedures. Participate in continuous education and training related to oncology nursing. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in oncology or infusion therapy. Strong understanding of chemotherapy protocols and patient care standards. Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in an outpatient oncology or infusion center setting. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner). Certifications ONS / ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification (or willingness to obtain). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required). Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
