The Relationship Manager (RM) is a key member of the Anchorage Digital sales team. The RM is responsible for generating new revenue opportunities through cross-selling and driving organic revenue by growing and protecting wallet share. The role delivers Anchorage’s full suite of digital asset services and understands the needs and opportunities within the client portfolio and monetizes them.

Members of the sales organization drive growth and future success by originating, developing, and maintaining high-value client relationships and monetizing our products and services. The team is expected to drive revenue, act as ambassadors for the company and industry, and build Anchorage Digital’s reputation as a trusted partner.

Team members collaborate across peers and the broader organization, share insights, solve problems, and drive new initiatives that serve client needs and attract new customers. Required skills include professional communication, negotiation, creative thinking, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Develop account plans and strategies to drive revenue growth and maintain a robust pipeline using the CRM system.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, including high net worth / family offices and crypto asset managers / VCs, and help drive broader sales efforts.
  • Educate yourself on all aspects of the Anchorage Digital platform and stay aligned with its value proposition and industry developments.

Technical Skills

  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Anchorage Digital platform and products with expertise in high net worth / family offices and crypto asset managers / VCs.
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to leverage the Anchorage platform for client solutions and demonstrate the value proposition.
  • Resolve client issues creatively and adapt to dynamic circumstances.
  • Account Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of protocol foundation and treasury clients. Understand their priorities, technical roadmaps, and pain points.
  • Deal Navigation : Structure and negotiate bespoke, multi-product commercial agreements that encompass Anchorage Digital’s offerings to create win-win outcomes, including banking, treasury management, ecosystem investments, and TVL strategies.
  • Complexity and Impact of Work

  • Apply judgment in evaluating deals and adjusting pricing or solutions as needed.
  • Work autonomously, defining priorities to grow and protect revenue with minimal supervision.
  • Own the full lifecycle of a deal from origination to closure and execute outcomes that maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with clients to help them achieve objectives across diverse needs.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities and maintain a robust pipeline with minimal intervention.
  • Participate in the hiring process by referring candidates, conducting interviews, and engaging in external recruitment activities.
  • Organizational Knowledge

  • Stay informed of Anchorage strategy and contribute to expanding leadership in the buy-and-hold base, RIAs, and large asset managers, leveraging strengths in safe settlement and regulatory navigation.
  • Understand how company priorities relate to customer segments and product offerings, sourcing opportunities to drive revenue in support of firm priorities.
  • Communication and Influence

  • Model the company culture, promote a positive environment, listen actively, and collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and teach others.
  • Adapt internal and external communication to explain and advocate for process or policy changes that support revenue growth.
  • Build relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders impacting the sales team’s success.

  • Institutional account management experience within digital assets, financial services, and / or SaaS, with a track record of closing deals and achieving targets.
  • Direct crypto industry experience and strong technical knowledge of digital assets; a strong network of institutional clients is preferred.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative approach and strong executive presence to articulate Anchorage Digital’s value proposition.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
