Tractor Trailer Driver
As a Tractor Trailer Driver, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of petroleum products to commercial and retail sites. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our customers in a safety focused environment. Your success will depend on your ability to adhere to daily routes, load the fuel truck, and complete pre-and post-trip inspections while maintaining all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and procedures.

Your Responsibilities
Deliver Irving Oil Products to various locations within the required geographical locationsComplete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is performing to the required standardsReview and plan daily routes while collaborating with our Dispatch team to improve the efficiency of routesSafely load and unload products from storage facilities while adhering to all safety policies and proceduresContinuously evaluate and make safety decisions on trucks, conditions, products, sites, deliveries, leaks, and any other situations in which the driver feels there may be a safety issue. Report all hazards or unsafe situations that cannot be corrected on their own to the ManagerComplete daily shift reports and all required paperwork with accurate informationMaintain a clean and organized vehicle inside & outsideYour Skills
Strong communication and collaboration skillsBasic mathematical skillsSafety-focused with strong technical skillsAbility to work 12-hour schedulesYour Experience
A valid CDL Class A Driver's License with Hazmat & Tanker endorsementsHigh school diploma or G.E.D. requiredMinimum 2 years Commercial Transportation experiencePrevious experience with liquid loads is considered an asset
