Position Summary

As a Patient Care Technician, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care, assist with clinical procedures, and support unit operations. This role includes hands-on patient care, technical responsibilities such as phlebotomy and EKGs, and effective collaboration with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide age-appropriate, compassionate care to patients.
• Monitor and record vital signs and other physiological indicators.
• Assist patients with hygiene, mobility, and elimination needs.
• Collect and label specimens; ensure timely delivery to appropriate departments.
• Perform Point of Care (POC) testing and assist with treatments and procedures.
• Support physicians and nurses during exams and simple procedures.
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and emergency readiness protocols.
• Communicate respectfully and clearly with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to support clinical and non-clinical needs.
• Maintain equipment and document care activities accurately.

Compensation and Benefits
