• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Must work 2 out of 4 holidays (Christmas Eve or Day, New Year's Eve or New Year's Day)
• Patient ratio of 6 : 1 for all shifts
• Float required when census is down across all facilities
• Minimum 2 years of experience required - first time travelers accepted
• BLS certification required
• Must pass EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• 48 hours of orientation provided
• Care for observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, palliative / end of life / hospice patients, psychiatric observation, diabetes patients, and surgical patients
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Local radius restriction of 50 miles
• Must complete compliance by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date
• Education verification through third party required
• Clean background check with no open cases required Facility : This healthcare facility operates a 30-bed medical surgical telemetry unit with a daily census of 16 patients. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and requires all nursing staff to demonstrate competency in EKG interpretation regardless of specialty.
