THE POSITION :

The Door Repair Technician (DRT) or Door Inspector is responsible for the repairs or inspection of fire rated doors, frames based off inspection criteria from NFPA 80.

SKILLS :

• Practical knowledge of hand tools, job sites, and construction environment (buildings, construction, etc.)
• Ability to interact as a team player or on one's own depending on the project requirements
• Ability to identify potential safety issues and problems
• Ability to work with a diverse workforce in a positive way
• Self-motivated and responsible

SKILLS WE WILL TRAIN YOU :

The Door Repair Technician position will acquire knowledge in NFPA 80, metal door construction, wood door construction, frames, parts, and hand tools. The DRT is also responsible for the documentation of any repairs in Procore.

The Door Inspector position will acquire knowledge in NFPA 80 on 13-Point inspections and identifying deficiencies in rated door assemblies.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY :

THE LOCATION :

Work in healthcare facilities and new construction throughout the country. This position travels at least 50% of the time.

$55 dollars a day per diem for travel

Travel is required for this position.
