Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Scope Developer to join its Operations Americas business focusing on chemical manufacturing industry. This opportunity is On site and reports to a Wood office based in Enoree, SC, United States.
The Role
As the Project Scope Developer you will be responsible for developing the initial scope for facility-based capital and expense projects in an active chemical manufacturing plant.

Work with Maintenance and Operations to understand the needs of the site.Engage with stakeholders to develop documented scopes for multiple small capital & expense projects.Communicate regularly to keep team members and stakeholders up to date on status.Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all deliverables and services provided.Qualifications

Experience working as a Project Manager in a chemical manufacturing site.Demonstrated knowledge of successful project scoping practices.Knowledge of chemical or related manufacturing facilities and experience managing projects in these facilities.Able to proactively plan, organize, and drive tasks to completion.Strong safety champion who will lead the project in achieving zero incidents and injuries.A pro-active approach to solving problems and getting the job done.Self-motivated / Self-directed.Able to handle multiple activities simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Good negotiation and meeting facilitation skills.Knowledge of current versions of industry standard codes, practices, and procedures and their application.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.Good presentation skills.About Us
