Salary : Up to $18.00 Per Hour
The HR Clerk facilitates the human resource processes at our San Antonio location for community providers (or attendants) providing assistance to our clients with activities of daily living.
Primary function is to coordinate and administer the onboarding and orientation of PAS attendants and assist with the various daily functions of the department.
Responsibilities :
- Performs customer service functions by answering provider requests and questions.
- Assists with onboarding, including new-employee background checks and orientations.
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
- Prepares new-employee files, and files documents into appropriate employee files.
- Processes required documents through management and payroll to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Conducts audits of provider records and recommends corrective action.
- Assists with processing of disciplinary action and terminations.
- Assists with the performance review process.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience with Vesta EVV preferred.
- PAS or PHC Experience Preferred.
Education and Experience :
- Associate's degree or 60 college credit hours required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Relevant experience in a supervisory position within a healthcare-related setting can substitute for education.
Hours :
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
