BIM Modeler/Drafter

BIM Modeler/Drafter responsible forutilizing Revit Structure and BIM technology to prepare construction documents of structural drawings and details for projects. This position requires coordination and collaboration with the engineering team, project management leaders, principals and clients.

Required:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 2 years of Revit and/or BIM (Building Information Modeling)
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Highly organized, detail-driven and conscientious
• AutoCAD and Revit Structural experience required
• Ability to work in a dynamic team setting with overtime as required

Job Details:

• Prepare drawings, documents, details, and schedules using Revit Structure from engineering notes, sketches and/or drawings.
• Prepare construction documents and records.
• Operate, copy, blueprint, duplicate, receive and transmit documents to clients on behalf of the design team via online uploads or hard copies.
• Interface with contractors, clients and other team members in a positive & professional manner.
• Understanding of 3D Coordination with other disciplines.
• Subscribe to our company’s goals and objectives.
• Support engineering staff directly on computational or drafting tasks.
• Perform required project tracking and archiving of documents and project deliverables.
• Ability to successfully organize and work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Work on several projects at one time.
• Other duties as assigned.
