We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team in Mentor, OH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout our machining processes. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of products using various measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers.
- Perform parts cleaning operation utilizing pressure washing equipment to ensure compliant return shipping standards
- Process associated documentation including process tags, rework tags, and nonconforming material documents
- Perform daily audits of processes to ensure standard operating procedures are being followed
- Disposition nonconforming product
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Perform other quality related duties as needed
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 2 years of inspection experience in an aerospace precision machining environmentKnowledgeable and skilled in the use of standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges, and test rigsAbility and willingness to work under direct supervision and in accordance with written instructions and techniquesAbility to read engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection instructionsMechanical aptitude to adjust / repair gages and fixturesAbility to identify / troubleshoot machining issuesAbility to work under direct supervision and to follow written instructions and techniquesMust be willing to work hands-onAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet time sensitive deadlinesBasic mechanical / mathematical aptitude requiredBasic computer skillsFamiliar with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Princeton Precision Group abides by applicable export control laws including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) in accordance with the company's export control procedures.
