Direct Support Professional
Elevations is a Jobs and Day Training program dedicated to providing continuing education for individuals with intellectual / developmental disabilities.

Tasks
As a Direct Support Professional, you will be critical in providing person-centered support to our clients. Your responsibilities will include assisting individuals with daily living tasks, facilitating skill-building activities, and promoting independence and community integration.
Your compassionate approach and commitment to fostering a supportive and empowering atmosphere will significantly contribute to the well-being and growth of our clients.
Requirements
- A genuine passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build trusting relationships
- Ability to follow individualized plans and adapt to changing needs
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues
- High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications are a plus)
- 18 years of age or older
- Pass a criminal background check
- Experience in a similar role is highly valued but not essential - we provide comprehensive training and support!
- Able to attend 7 days of orientation / training program
