Job description

Position Summary :

The Quality Specialist I supports basic quality assurance activities by performing inspections, assisting with audits, and maintaining compliance documentation. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to develop a career in quality management within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Understand and follow ISO 9001 and document control systems
  • Assist in audit preparation and observation
  • Perform basic visual and dimensional inspections
  • Participate in problem-solving discussions
  • Document nonconformances and notify leadership
  • Suggest minor process improvements
  • Understand basic compliance requirements
  • Complete forms and checklists for quality documentation
  • Fill out templates and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Communicate clearly with peers
  • Participate in training and development activities

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the quality function
